Led the FP&A Centers of Expertise (CoE) for ABB, driving both operational excellence and strategic transformation within the finance organization. Oversaw a global team of 500+ across four key hub locations (Mexico, Poland, India, and China) while shaping the future of ABB’s finance operations as part of the ABB Way Finance Transformation.Key Achievements & Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: Set the direction for the FP&A CoEs, crafting a clear vision and actionable strategy aligned with ABB’s global finance objectives. Led the design of the future Finance Target Operating Model (FTOM), in collaboration with business CFOs, laying the foundation for ABB’s finance transformation journey. • Operational Oversight: Managed a global FP&A team of over 500 professionals, delivering critical financial insights and support to business units and corporate leadership across multiple geographies. Successfully increased employee engagement and team alignment with improved annual survey scores. • Transformational Impact: Spearheaded the global transformation of FP&A CoEs, achieving greater transparency and buy-in from finance leaders, resulting in expanded scope and enhanced customer satisfaction within ABB’s business finance. • Advanced Forecasting: Introduced innovative predictive analytics models to improve business forecasting, delivering enhanced accuracy in predicting orders, revenues, profit, and cash flow for five quarters ahead, driving better decision-making. • Change Management Champion: Led significant change management initiatives to align CoE teams with ABB’s divisions seamlessly, ensuring continuity and avoiding disruption during the transition. • Global Finance Transformation: Played a key role in the execution of ABB’s Finance Transformation Program, including the implementation of SAP Central Finance (CFin), streamlining processes, and setting the stage for future scalability and efficiency.
