Job responsibilities:- Manage Key Accounts of Large Industries (with Sanctioned Load > 40kW) and execute monthly Billing Operation of these customers on SAP, including Reading Data collection, validation and invoicing. Report monthly sales position to Management.- Supervision of MIOs to organize and coordinate monthly Small Industries (Sanctioned Load < 40 kW) Billing Operations and report Small Industries Sales position to Management.- Ensure that Large and Small Industries Billing operations are carried out in accordance with Company’s Policy and NEPRA Consumer Service Manual.- Monitor Recovery position of Large and Small Industries to achieve end-of-month recovery targets.- Plan, organize and implement Distribution System Improvement initiatives such as Hand-held Meter Reading Units (HHU) project, Consumer’s Mapping on GIS (Geographical Information System), Power Factor improvement, identification of overloaded points on overhead Network, setting up Recovery camps, raising awareness against theft practices, promoting energy conservation.- Analysis of Billing trends on the basis of historical records, benchmark consumers, Check Meters, PMTs/Feeders sent-out, billed and recovered units of all Industrial Accounts and report any incongruity to Revenue Protection & Recovery Section of IBC.- Implement those training schedules devised by the Management to train meter readers from time to time and ensure that Meter readers have proper safety briefings and that all work is performed in accordance with KE safety rules.- Periodically accompany Disconnection and Recovery teams to area of work to observe their work habits, particularly in regard to speed-up, thoroughness, and dealings with customers. Advise and guide as necessary.
Assistant Manager - Customer Accounts (Large Industries)
- Manage Key Accounts, Large Industries, with Load > 40kW, in SITE (Sindh Industrial Trading Estates) area and execute monthly Billing Operation of these customers on SAP, including Data collection, validation and invoicing, and report monthly sales position to Manager Customer Accounts.- Supervision of Meter Inspection Officers (MIOs) to organize and coordinate monthly Small Industries (Load < 40 kW) Billing Operation, report Sales position to Manager Customer Accounts and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety rules.- Ensure that Large and Small Industries Billing operations are carried out in accordance with Company Policy and NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority) Consumer Service Manual.- Customer Facilitation of Key Industrial Accounts, redress their grievances, issues and complaints on priority within stipulated TAT (Turnaround time), such as billing issues, tariff structure, load regulation, power factor and system improvement issues, due date and late payment surcharge matter etc.- Analysis of Billing trends on the basis of historical records, benchmark consumers, Check Meters, PMTs/Feeders sent-out, billed and recovered units of all Industrial Accounts and report any incongruity to Revenue Protection and Recovery Department.- Analyze Connected and Sanctioned loads of Industrial consumers, recommend system improvements and facilitate load extensions of such accounts in liaisons with respective departments.- Execute site surveys of Large Industries, organize and supervise surveys of Small Industries by a team of Meter Inspection Officers (MIOs); for issuance of Dues Clearance Certificates, Reconnection, New Connection, Load Extension and Regularization schemes etc.
Assistant Manager - Revenue Protection
Job Responsibilities:- Monitor Distribution System Losses: Analyzing feeder-wise and transformer-wise units billed in comparison to units sent-out (obtained from Check Meters installed on PMTs and Grids) ratio and recovery ratio to identify high loss areas and initiate combing operations to reduce Aggregate Technical and Commercial (ATC) losses in the Distribution Network of the Integrated Business Centre.- Supervise and lead teams to carry out site inspections; check HT and LT Energy Metering Equipment’s accuracy, conduct detailed Load Surveys of Large Industries (Load > 40 kW) and perform load-consumption analysis, ensuring consumer’s in-house distribution system is in-line with Utility Company’s policies and Regulatory guidelines.- Assist Manager in developing and providing policies and procedures to sub-ordinates, and review long term and short term organizational ATC goals/ targets and monitor progress. Also responsible for generating reports, formalizing summaries for senior management.- Execute Distribution System Improvement Schemes such as Power Factor enhancement, implementation of SAP for Distribution Operations, identification of Captive Power industrial consumers, application of Regulator Approved Tariff; advise and facilitate consumers in adoption of power factor correction and raise their awareness of tariff structure, company policies and nationwide electric power Regulations.- Manage Small Industries (Load < 40kW) site inspections through a team of Meter Inspection Officers, and train MIO’s and other pertaining staff, in conducting on-site meter inspections and reporting.- Supervision of MIOs (Meter Inspection Officers) and analysis of Site Inspection Reports of Small Industries prepared by them to identify losses, and responsible for ensuring MIOs are properly trained and equipped to detect faulty meters, illegal connections, and neutral breaks, etc. and that all work is performed in accordance with safety rules.
