I consult with many of the car seat manufacturers as they design and develop their car seats - with the goal of making the car seats that children ride in safer and easier to use which will reduce the misuse rate, and ultimately reduce the injury and fatality rates. I also worked as a consultant for Uber 2013-2016 helping them design, develop, launch and run their car seat program that exists in NYC, Philly, and DC. I'm also a board certified pediatrician and worked for 4 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit taking care of babies with congenital heart disease before and after their first open heart surgery.
