Alisa Gregory is a founding Dance Company Member of EMERGE125 (a Harlem, New York based dance company) and is in her third season with the company. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. In her four years since graduating she has appeared in 21 dance productions and three dance films.In addition to the role of Company Dancer, Alisa serves as EMERGE125’s (E125) Special Events Coordinator and Young Executives Board Chair. These positions require her to plan 5-7 fundraising and community events for the organization while holding regular board meetings and keeping communications with community leaders/partners. Before serving in these roles she worked for seven years as a freelance Social Media Manager. Her work included content creation and implementation of promotional campaigns, as well as daily management of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In accounts. In addition to administrative work, Alisa teaches dance through the E125’s educational outreach partnerships with Starz of Tomorrow and Repertory Company High School; a position that allows her to constantly be giving back to New York City youth at no cost to the students. Outside of the EMERGE125 organization, Alisa is an inaugural dance instructor for the Misty Copeland Foundation’s BE BOLD program and also serves as the company ballet instructor for the Landrum School of Performing Arts.
