As an outdoor Montessori preschool teacher with over a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning and nature in young children. My teaching philosophy revolves around the Montessori method, emphasizing hands-on, child-centered education that encourages independence, curiosity, and respect for the natural world. I believe that learning should be an adventure, and I strive to create an environment where children can explore, discover, and thrive.In addition to my teaching career, I have spent eight years as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. This unique experience has honed my skills in patience, safety, and the ability to inspire confidence in others. Training divers of all ages has reinforced my commitment to experiential learning and my passion for the outdoors.My dual expertise in early childhood education and scuba diving allows me to bring a unique perspective to my teaching. I am committed to creating meaningful, real-world learning experiences that connect children to their environment and instill a lifelong love for exploration, discovery, and stewardship.Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, whether it’s hiking, diving, or simply spending time in nature. I am always looking for new ways to bring my global adventures back into the classroom to enrich the educational experience of my students.
