• Communicate scientific information to the public by assessing the patron’s scientific level and interest, break down the material into an appropriate level, and make it engaging for the individual or large groups.• Guide groups of fifth graders through the museum, explaining the scientific information displayed in the exhibits.• Serve as lead museum guide in the school program, responsibilities being assign guide’s roles, conduct morning meeting, handle issues as they arise, and document the day’s events in a legal manner.

• Studying the low-mass limit of galaxy formation with Dr. Coral Wheeler, by analyzing simulations of galaxies and halo finder outputs in order to make testable predictions.• Program in Python to create graphs from large data files, and used Bash to connect to a TACC supercomputer in order to access and manipulate the large data files.• Manage files and outputs through XSEDE and Globus, to access data files, as well as view produced graphs.• Analyze such graphs by studying the shapes and patterns, to investigate properties of dwarf galaxies and relationships between variables such as star formation rate, and amount of dark matter present.• Participate in weekly meetings with Dr. Wheeler and other research students, by presenting the week’s results, questions, and difficulties, as well as listened and engaged with other research student’s presentations.• Created an presented work in poster format at Cal Poly Pomona’s research symposium.• Presented in poster session at American Astronomical Society Summer 2023.

• Maintained seven 3D printers through cleaning and recalibrating build plates.• Assisted faculty with projects such as creating a 3D file from an image to create a decorative Fire Fighters Academy medallion.• Organized storage closet containing engineering supplies to make facility accessible to college students.

• Guided students throughout the design process in making functional 3D printed headphones, utilizing 3D printers, SolidWorks, and soldering. • Participated in a team of five teacher’s assistants, and coordinated our efforts based on individual abilities and specialties to successfully manage students, lab 3D printers, and usage of slicing and modeling software.
