For various academies I have been responsible for: general system management (Facility CMIS), including upgrades and modifications to the CMIS database and Eportal system; user management; setting up and maintaining all-new CMIS reports (attendance and truancies, assessment, behaviour and exclusions, exams, school timetable, staff/student profiles – with analysis of key demographics), including creation of advanced Excel spreadsheets where required.I have handled the four main statutory school census returns every year (whole school and workforce) and completed other end-of-year data returns to the DFE/LA as required. I have been responsible for most data-exchanges with 3rd parties for each site, including various exam boards (AQA, Edexcel/Pearson, OCR, WJEC) , FFT Live, ALPS, GL Assessments (CATS), DFE (COLLECT, S2S, etc.), Renaissance Learning, and library data systems (Eclipse), and handling any related data/reports from these services.Within CMIS I have supported with: student/staff records maintenance (and customisation), setting up assessment configurations from KS1 to KS5, including setting up parental reports, and providing detailed analyses after every assessment; exams data management (incl. results day downloads and analysis); timetable design, implementation, and maintenance; automated data transfers; SQL server management (querying and updating the database “by hand”). I have also trained staff of differing skill levels in their own areas of system management and reporting, when required.

In addition to the skills/responsibilities I have had while freelancing, during my time at HASN:I developed bespoke in-house Windows apps (GUI and console) to enhance CMIS with: automated behaviour alerts, unmarked register alerts, and data-checking/consistency reports.I set up and produced content for an in-house video-training website, which new staff used to learn about any common data systems they were unfamiliar with.I supported data managers and others across the Harris Federation with guidance on data management processes, including assisting with setting up new CMIS reports and advanced analysis using Excel and other tools.I was promoted in my last 5 months to senior data manger across two academies – which gave me line-managing responsibility for a skilled data technician.

Content Encoding: Preparing audio/video/graphic content for release on web, WAP, PSMS, MMS and Bluetooth. Responsible for creation of real-, poly-, and mono-tones, online video and graphics as needed.Software Engineer: For 1.5 years I worked on online reporting and moderation solutions for a social network platform called Ourtribes. Technologies used: SQL, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, XHTML, AJAX, Javasript, XML, XPATH.

Sales: Selling audio/visual studio equipment via telesales and over the counter.Web Orders (Feb-06 to Jul-06): Increased throughput of sales process: installed/maintained all new software; created all-new house-style templates, to improve (speed up) communication with customers; improved back-order closing processes; provided comprehensive team-training and training manuals.

Worked in various stores, primarily: Hainault, Barkingside, West Wickham.Many managerial duties: Key holder, team management, health and safety, customer service.Took on responsibility of training entire workforce on changeover to Kingstore till system, including sales, stock/label management, till changeovers and bank reconciliation.
