I am a second-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business pursuing a degree in Marketing. I am passionate about finding innovative ways to communicate, solve challenges in business, understanding consumer decisions, and creating an impact on those around me.Being an Assistant Pro Tennis Coach over the past summers has allowed me to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. It is imperative to clearly lead and communicate with both co-workers and players about planned activities and goals, changes based on student performance observations, scheduling, new drill development, or technical skills needed. Paying attention to small details and clearly conveying my ideas has proven to be a determining factor of success. By developing complex schedules for our lesson groups, I have learned the importance of time management. Managing my time and others is crucial to efficiency. It is not always possible to meet everyone’s needs, however, by working with everyone and clearly communicating I have been able to accommodate for situations to get the best possible effect. Obtaining these skills have help lead me toward success in my collegiate years and can even be used in the workforce. Looking forward, I am eager to continue my academic journey and creating meaningful connections during my time at Indiana University. I see myself furthering my involvement and leadership in my upcoming collegiate years. I am motivated to achieving success and continuing my development into the corporate environment after graduation.
