Currently managing the department’s continuous improvement team responsible for ensuring the day to day improvement of the UK payroll operation.Responsible for the process, education and technology aspects of running a successful and efficient payroll whilst providing an excellent customer service.We use an agile framework incorporating Lean six sigma in a non production environment and consistently deliver successful efficiencies across the operation.I am personally responsible for delivering business improvements within the Department and across the business to enhance the service we provide, make efficiencies and reduce risk.Achieving the CIPP PAS re-accreditation certificate and ensuring SOC compliance with our processes and education.I also work with the product owners as part of PDT to prioritise development workflows whilst ensuring the customer requirements and expectations are set, delivered and met.Previously with Fourth I was responsible for the UAT and end to end testing of our award winning pension module development as well as the project planning and implementation of the integrated Pensions module. Eventually creating a pensions managed service team and service managing our customers auto enrolment duties from end to end.Before that, I have been responsible for the day to day managent of a payroll processing team dealing with the bureau scheduling and processes, implementing a new paperless working environment, dealing with customer escalations and organising and attending regular payroll review meetings.I have also been responsible for the implementation of over 100 new payroll customers onto the payroll software - people system - including P11 reconciliations, parallel or historical runs, and project sign offs before handing over to the existing business teams
