Over two decades ago, I founded Contact Media as a boutique PR and marketing agency. Since its inception in 2000, Contact Media has been dedicated to delivering top-tier PR and marketing solutions to a diverse range of clients, both locally and internationally. Our esteemed clientele includes organisations such as Banana Shire Council, Murweh Shire Council, Maranoa Regional Council, Screen QLD, CanTeen Australia, Hamilton Island, Great Keppel Island, Aqualung, and The Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW).

During my tenure as the publisher and owner of Australian Yoga Journal, I spearheaded advertising efforts for both the magazine and website. Leveraging strategic client relationships, I achieved a remarkable 60% increase in advertising revenue within the first year, with continued growth thereafter. Building strong rapport with clients, I fostered trust and loyalty, positioning Yoga Journal Australia as the most reputable brand in the local yoga industry.

In 2007, our company secured the license to publish Australian Men's Fitness Magazine. Taking on a key role of Advertising Manager within the business, I spearheaded the advertising sales efforts, playing a crucial part in laying the groundwork for the brand's establishment in Australia. Given the magazine's nascent presence in the country, I took charge of initiating and developing advertising relationships, alongside implementing marketing and sponsorship strategies to drive business growth. Through these strategic initiatives, Men's Fitness grew into one of Australia's premier men's magazines, supported by a robust advertising model.

During my tenure as a Publicist at CanTeen, one of Australia's most beloved cancer charities, I spearheaded initiatives to elevate the organisation's visibility through strategic media outreach. My responsibilities involved orchestrating impactful campaigns that garnered attention through television features, magazine articles, and celebrity partnerships, both locally and globally. Additionally, I undertook a contracted project to transform the annual ball from a modest gathering to a prominent event on the Sydney social calendar, attracting over 700 attendees and raising more than $800,000 in revenue for the charity.

My passion lies in cultivating small ideas and nurturing them into significant endeavours. This passion was ignited during my tenure as Sponsorship Manager for Tropfest, the world's largest short film festival, during its nascent stages. In this role, I orchestrated strategic partnerships with leading corporations such as Channel 9, Foxtel, the City of Sydney, The Domain, and Apple Australia. These collaborations played a pivotal role in the exponential growth of the festival, transforming it into the renowned event it is today.

My journey in public relations commenced at Holt PR, a boutique firm based in Sydney. Starting as an assistant, I had the privilege to work on the Apple Computer Account, gaining invaluable skills along the way. I was promoted to the role of Account Manager, working on Apple Consumer Products. This experience laid a solid foundation for my career in PR, shaping my skills and shaping my passion for delivering impactful communication strategies.
