I have been self employed for 14 years. I have numerous years of experience developing relationships with clients and being considerate of their needs to obtain the outcome they desire. I can effectively manage my time and have had experience working from home alone, as well as working in a larger team.I also have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, which I have used most recently in my own business. I believe the skills I have developed in previous employment can be transferred to most roles including customer service which has always been my top priority, to make sure I give them the best experience they can have.Over the past 14 years, I have managed a quality service. This has involved listening to clients to deliver a high quality service by managing the clients expectations, providing them guidance on what service they require, and take into account any contraindications of their individual needs. I provide a safe, caring and effective service. I am also aware of confidentiality, and how important it is, as I have to follow GDPR guidelines with client record cards. I also deal with all kinds of clientele where I make sure they feel comfortable with me, knowing that there will be no judgement or discrimination. I have successfully handled change and improvement, during the transition from working in a office and then starting a more practical role, which included a work based apprenticeship.One of the biggest challenges was setting up my own business and working from home. This has required self motivation and time management to ensure that the business is successful, as well as ensuring that all aspects such as advertising, book keeping and professional services are maintained. I really enjoy and excel with the challenge of learning new skills and it gives me great satisfaction to ensure that these continue to be developed.It was vital, in my previous office job that I was able to make effective decisions, to designate and prioritise jobs effectively. For example, allocating jobs to technicians based on their local area and skill ability to provide efficiency to the customer, resulting in an increase in productivity for total customer visits, each day. This skill has been transferable as I have to make effective decisions to prioritise customer bookings and manage time effectively to keep clients trust.I feel, that now is the time, for me to progress further in my career and i'm looking for a new challenge as well as developing existing skills, whilst learning new ones.
