Qualifying as a teacher over 20 years ago I have acquired a broad range of experience teaching Science, Biology, ICT, Maths and Computing in a range of Northamptonshire schools and now in South Devon. I am Assistant Principal at South Devon University Technical College, which opens to students aged 14 to 19 years in September 2015. Prior to this exciting appointment, I was Lead Practitioner and Subject Leader for ICT and Computing at the all-through 4 to 19 school, Caroline Chisholm School in Northampton where I taught since its' creation in 2004. In my role as Lead Practitioner, I worked as an Associate Lecturer with the University of Northampton, delivering the Computing components of the Year 1 and 2 Initial Teacher Training Programme.
