Since I was younger, I have always struggled with anxiety, but by gaining a better understanding of it, I have been able to grow with it. I hope to do the same for others. I found that I am most capable of helping other, which has always been a driving passion. While I am still attending Northern Illinois University for psychology (2020-2024) and just starting out in my career, what I have learned has been able to help me learn more about myself. A little bit about me; I enjoy to travel. I have almost made it to all 50 states, and I have gained a better outlook on life because of it. I have been able to learn how to get out of my comfort zone and form connections with others. In the future, after I graduate with my bachelors degree, I am planning on getting my masters within cognitive psychology. I hope to gain more experience in this field by undertaking tasks regarding relevant research to the field of psychology and lab work. Through working as an accounting clerk I designed and implemented a new system for tracking tens of thousands of dollars in returned merchandise credits, learning and advancing my skills within Microsoft. From this work I have also gathered skills within QuickBooks. As a Kid Zone attendant at my gym, I learned how to mediate conflict, create a comfortable environment, and learned how to multitask with caring for multiple children at a time. I have a great appreciation for knowledge, and hope to continue to gain more perspective within all areas of life within both work and outside events.
