Role provided me with opportunity to work at a more strategic level and support Commissioning leaders across the North West during this time of unprecedented change.Achievements• Gathered intelligence from a range of CCG and CSU leaders in the NW to produce detailed recommendations for the AQuA Board on options for the membership offer for Commissioners for 2012/13• Developed a Commissioning for Outcomes programme for CCGs with the SHA Commissioning Development Team, incorporating Authorisation Dry Run development needs, which is being adopted by the DH for national roll-out• Developed a local CQUIN scheme and a QOF Quality Productivity (QP) template for Shared Decision Making which have been enthusiastically received by CCGs• Project managed the Observatory Team to develop Improving Outcomes Packs for COPD, Stroke and CKD and marketed them to Commissioners• Provided tailored Commissioning support to Commissioner members e.g. acted as ‘critical friend’ in development of QIPP Plans• Explained the AQuA products and programmes in a way that CCGs and CSU could understand the benefits and value of continued AQuA membership• Educated the wider AQuA Team on the Commissioning transition and the need to tailor products in a way that helps Commissioners achieve their key deliverables-authorisation and QIPP
