About Alison Sullivan

Ali Sullivan is currently a float assistant for the upper elementary classrooms at Rogers Park Montessori School in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to her current position with Rogers Park Montessori, Sullivan was a Naturalist at the Dunes Learning Center located within the National Lakeshore of Indiana. Sullivan was also an environmental education instructor at Nature's Classroom Institute in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Sullivan is a graduate of DePauw University, class of 2014. The liberal arts education afforded at DePauw allowed Sullivan to gain a wide skill set and the ability to be an innovative thinker.Sullivan has gained strong time management skills and leadership ability through her roles as both an educator and a student in her professional career. Sullivan is passionate about teaching children to cultivate a respect and understanding of their natural surroundings and instilling principles of stewardship. Sullivan is a strong believer in the child-centered approach to education, encompassing a child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
