I am a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and work with clients from all ages and backgrounds. I work predominantly in private practice across two locations, Morayfield Psychology Centre on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and Pine Rivers Private Hospital on Tuesdays. I have experience working with a multitude of concerns including anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, trauma, grief, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, behaviour management, and emotional dysregulation. I also have experience conducting psychometric assessment and diagnosis of conditions such as intellectual impairment, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning difficulties/disorders and treatment thereafter. My special interests areas:- assisting children, adolescents and young adults with their mental health concerns. - women’s mental health and wellbeing including adjusting to life with menses, transitioning through midlife career and family changes, and navigating the subtle yet progressive changes imposed by perimenopause and beyond. I am a foundational member of All About Her – The Centre for Menopause (Western Australia) – a resource hub and healthcare squad for Australian women whose lives are impacted by menopause. I draw on lived experience as well as professional knowledge to provide a safe and inviting space for clients to feel comfortable to just be. I encourage a collaborative relationship in the therapy room where I recognise that each client is unique and the expert of their own life and that my role is to guide and assist clients with achieving their goals and living their best life. My treatment approach reflects a holistic lens using a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping), and play therapy.
