Having worked in the role of Head of Marketing for Peak Retreats covering a period of maternity leave (Feb 2017 to Mar 2018), I am now continuing in this role on a permanent basis. I manage the marketing team, creating and managing the implementation of our marketing plan, using a whole range of tools from advertising and social media to digital, CRM and direct mail.

I plan, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns for various marine clients working across PR, advertising, content creation and social. This involves creating advertising schedules for clients, planning and buying advertising space in print media, outdoor space and online. It also involves creating content for clients for printed marketing materials, websites and social platforms, writing news releases and proofing all elements of each campaign. I am instrumental in creating effective social media campaigns for clients from planning to execution. In addition, I have run training sessions on the basics of social media in marketing.

At Lagrange Holidays, I was responsible for the running of the UK office. The role was extremely varied and involved overseeing marketing, tour operator relations and a reservations team. I was also responsible for budgets, the direction of our ski and French holiday programmes, sales targets, human resources, building management and organising and presenting the business accounts and sales data to the Head Office team in Paris and Geneva.

When working in Sales & Marketing for Lagrange, I planned and executed our marketing strategy, implemented PR campaigns, worked with our third party resellers to build sales including setting up sales incentives and training third parties on our product, proof-read our brochures, helped to translate the UK website into English from French, and monitored sales figures and reacted accordingly to reach targets.

I was responsible for the smooth running of the office. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, ensuring media packs for the various magazines that we represented were up to date and readily available, booking advertisements into magazines across the world, liaising with magazines for advertisement rates, checking for editorial credits for UK companies in all our titles, and ensuring that advertisement copy reached magazines ahead of deadlines. I was also the first point of contact for those wishing to use our services.
