I recently graduated from Salisbury University, receiving a bachelor's degree in May 2021 [major: Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution (CADR)]. CADR majors are equipped for mediation careers in various settings (i.e., international affairs, education, private-sector, health care, and within the legal system); organizational management; human resource management; law enforcement and work with courts; non-profit organizations; and governmental agencies. I have just completed my first year of work toward a Master's Degree and am financing my post-graduate studies by working as a Graduate Assistant. In addition to retail experience and volunteer work, I interned at the Montgomery County Police Department. I feel as though this experience prepared me for this next step. I applied for the FBI National Academy’s Youth Leadership Program in high school. J. Thomas Manger, Chief of Police, Montgomery County Department of Police, wrote my letter of recommendation. I was one of the top 5 finalists, in MD, for the spot at the FBI Academy, although I was not selected.
