I am currently the Marketing & Business Director for Emotive, and was part of the launch team for the agency back in February 2015. Emotive is an independent creative company making ideas that change the way people feel about brands. Part ad agency, part production company, part brand experience and earned media specialist, Emotive creates ideas that live across advertising, entertainment, experiences, products and design.With a HQ on Coogee Beach, Emotive’s unique structure brings senior teams together to respond to clients’ business needs effectively and collaboratively, rather than default to ‘traditional comms’ as the answer.Since launching Emotive, I have been instrumental in delivering over 100+ creative campaigns end to end, 20+ global and local award wins, yearly increases in website traffic and engagement, consistently building subscribers on social platforms and writing and executing all trade and consumer communications. As Marketing Director, I helped create and build the Emotive brand, responsible for all external facing communications for the agency. My responsibilities include; brand strategy, managing the overall marketing budget, website, subscribers, social platforms, press releases, award entries and client communications. As Business Director, my primary role is to identify, develop and deliver integrated social video content campaigns for our top tier clients, that most importantly exceeded client objectives every time.Working in advertising/media/creative for the past 15 years, my career commenced in sales at Fairfax Media working on Good Weekend Magazine, and later working across both Sydney and Melbourne Magazines. London called, where I gained invaluable international experience managing key accounts for The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. Upon returning to Australia, I joined MCM Media where I later became responsible for managing trade and consumer marketing across all brands and platforms in my role as Marketing Executive. My biggest achievement at MCM Media was the successful company rebrand from MCM Media to Authentic Entertainment in June 2014. I hold an undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Newcastle and a postgraduate in Media from the University of NSW.
