I have been involved in the Higher Education sector for more than 20 years in a variety of roles including student counselling, coordination of first year and retention programs, evaluation and quality assurance, and project management. I am passionate about quality teaching and learning and about improving the education experience for students and teachers. I moved to Pebble Learning early in 2010 from the University of Tasmania where, amongst other tasks, I managed the institutional ePortfolio Project. It was through this project that I first met Shane Sutherland and Colin Dalziel, the Directors and co-founders of PebblePad, and saw PebblePad in action. I loved the software but even more than this I appreciated and respected Shane and Colin's approach to teaching and learning and to business. I decided that they headed up a company that I would be proud to work for - a company that had strong principles around quality and customer service and treated customers and employees with respect.I am now the Australian Director of Pebble Learning and work with education institutions and professional bodies across Australia and New Zealand to support the implementation of the Personal Learning and Assessment System, PebblePad. The company has lived up to my expectations in every way and I hope that I am able to portray this same sense of honest, respectful business practice to the customers that I work with.
