Deloitte's consulting arm assists clients by providing services in the areas of enterprise applications, technology integration, strategy & operations, human capital, and short-term outsourcing.As a Manager in Strategy & Operations, Alison led teams serving clients in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector with a focus on operational improvement, cost management, and innovation strategy. Across her tenure with the firm, her teams helped clientele realize over $1B in cost savings while driving industry-changing transformations through the provision of M&A services, design innovation, and technology implementation.

UNC Health Care is a 900+ bed integrated healthcare system and academic medical center established to provide patient care, educate health care professionals and advance medical research in partnership with the UNC School of Medicine. As Performance Improvement Specialist, Alison supported the VP of Performance Improvement by driving organization-wide clinical initiatives including those targeting the reduction of hospital acquired infections, increased adherence to core-measure protocols, and the reduction of unnecessary readmissions.

The Advisory Board Company is a best practices firm that uses a combination of research, technology, and consulting to improve the performance of health care organizations and educational institutions. The organization's healthcare division was acquired by Optum in 2017.As an Associate Director, Alison led product development and sales strategy for clinical and operational programs spanning the hospital provider market in over 20 countries. She worked with over 650 research staff to maintain an expert understanding of clinical and operational best practices in the healthcare setting and tailor those practices to the needs of the firm's provider clients. During her tenure with the firm, she received the Advisory Board Company's “Walk-the-Walk” Award from the CEO, celebrating a demonstration of the firm’s mission and values through dedication to colleagues and clients.
