Mlc Software Development Project Manager & Team Leader
Our group is responsible for the development and support of a web-based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) within MRC Harwell's Informatics Group. This is a critical system which handles the real time capture, management, quality control and analysis of large and complex datasets arising from instruments, observations and imaging modalities. Automated systems are incorporated wherever possible at all levels, inclusive of the final delivery of data to international consortia such as the IMPC*. Agile methodologies are utilised for regular delivery of new and extended modules. My principle function is that of Product Owner for the above system, conducting business requirements analysis, backlog maintenance and definition of done acceptance criteria.*(International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium)
