In this position, I'll be helping state government officials implement strategies that will radically improve decision-making and transform government by adopting ArcGIS. I will bring solutions to enhance cross-government communication and foster public-private partnerships. I will leverage over fifteen years of direct state and local government experience and nine years working with public safety. Through this opportunity, I gained invaluable experience on how to implement projects that require collaboration with diverse stakeholders from various backgrounds. Dewberry is a full service engineering and construction company who has an award winning geospatial practice. Maryland Account Executive (2004 - 2009) – Goal for this account was to establish the need for an Enterprise GIS supported by Esri’s ArcGIS• Provided Executive Account Management and superior customer service for the State of Maryland, covering all state agencies, including the MD Governors Office, 23 counties, 167 municipalities and engineering firms and grew this account by at least 25% each year• Created three regional users groups, Western Maryland, Central Maryland and Southern Maryland. Under my leadership, these groups grew from a few attendees to a few hundred meeting quarterly with user presentation (user to user)• Lead and launched Maryland’s 1st Federated Centerline Synchronization project which was a major first step in developing Maryland’s Enterprise GIS• Lead the technology strategy to support Maryland’s StateStat and BayStat Initiatives, known as MDiMap, One Maryland, One Map• On behalf of Esri’s President Jack Damgermond, I personally invited Governor O’Malley to speak at the Esri Conference• Lead the coordination between Esri Corporate and the MD Governor’s Staff to bring Governor O’Malley to speak at several Esri Federal and International Events• Lead the development and proposed Maryland’s first Esri Enterprise License Agreement to the GIO’s office, valued at around $900,000
