Exploration, Upstream Business DevelopmentDelivered project planning and execution (fully remote) of a $1G exploration investment which resulted in the successful drilling of a $125M exploration well and data collection program. Managed cross-functional team responsible for technical and economic evaluations, operation planning, and portfolio management. Built relationships and influenced business strategy with co-ventures. Responsible for communicating technical summaries and business recommendations to executive level management.Product owner and solutions architect for first ever Tableau based subsurface data analytics platform. Innovative techniques liberated internal data from proprietary on-prem databases to enable rapid data visualization and analytics. Integrated third party data via APIs and Snowflake implementation. Web-based self-service platform garnered 8k+ site visits making it the top visited Tableau Server site in the entire ExxonMobil Upstream organization. Results included adoption as technical requirement for project gates for multi-billion dollar business portfolio, influence operational decisions by rapidly contextualizing drilling observations and securing a strategic technical partnership with co-venture.

Exploration, Business DevelopmentManaged a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the digitization and interrogation of 80+ years of heritage hard copy subsurface data resulting in the identification of 30+ business development opportunities. One notable success was the identification of a $4G NPV8 exploration opportunity and subsequent drill well pursuit ($31M investment). Team was one of five finalists for the ExxonMobil Exploration Business Impact Award in 2017. Oversaw $3M digital transformation project which leveraged multiple vendors for the digitization of ~500k seismic field tapes and upload to cloud solution. Designed and delivered spatially enabled web based self-service data discovery platform which enabled data awareness for 13M+ data items from physical storage facility. Data discovery and integration workflow reduced by 90%.Participant on internal innovation “venture board”, mentoring 12+ teams through pitch sessions, customer research programs, problem framing, business plan creation, project valuation, lean canvas development, and MVP creation.

US Production, Gulf of MexicoLed subsurface evaluation and depletion planning for $400M drill well program.Resolved data interoperability deficiencies between geoscience and engineering applications for reservoir surveillance workflows. Solution was commercialized globally for all other producing assets.
