With a background in international political economy, Alisson Andrade has extensive experience in the fields of trade and tourism. In the Government of Brazil, he has served in the Ministry of Economy in the negotiation of free trade agreements and coordinating bilateral forums with foreign countries. Currently, he works for the Brazilian Governmental Tourism Board, where he has occupied leadership positions, such as General Manager and Advisor for Competitive Intelligence and Market Access. His current activities include, organising business missions overseas and advising authorities by analysing and reporting complex economic and policy issues.Alisson Andrade holds a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick (England), as a UK Government Chevening Scholar. He has an MBA from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Catholic University of Brasilia. He is currently a fellow at the Asia Global Institute from the University of Hong Kong.
