Drive By was a well known and market leading Drum n' Bass club night in Bristol. After leaving Creation, I teamed up with Gerard - Drive By's founder, managing day to day operations and growing the business.Drive By hosted three monthly parties at Bristol's O2 Academy and at The Level nightclub and at Babylon nightclub in Bath. Welcoming over 3,000 ravers every month across the three venues. We employed a team of 30 promotional staff and promoted the parties across the whole of the South West. The success and profile of the parties led to us to securing our own networked radio show on Galaxy FM, hosted by Gerard the Friday night show was broadcast across Galaxy's network of stations. Drive By hosted stages at festivals including EXIT in Serbia and regularly guested at clubs throughout the South West and up the M4 to London.

DP Leisure operate large multi-use venues, in cities across the UK. Whilst at DP, I opened and managed operations at venues in London and Bristol. Operational responsibilities included marketing, promotions, licensing, recruitment, stock management and profitability. Liquid in Wandsworth, was a 1,000 capacity ex-theatre, that opened in early 1999. Our opening party was hosted by Another Level and was attended by Jordan who was dating Dane Bowers at the time. The club hosted student, RnB and UK garage party nights. Creation in Bristol, was a 2,000 capacity old cinema, that opened in late 1999. It changed the clubbing scene in Bristol, introducing big name acts and huge clubbing brands to the city. Friday nights featured a rotation of collaborations with Trevor Nelson [MTV's The Lick and Soul parties], Tim Westwood from Radio 1's Rap Show, Big Beat Boutique feat. Fatboy Slim and Bristol's own Full Cycle Records feat. Roni Size. Our Saturday night hosted Slinky, the worldwide house night their regular artists included Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha and Radio 1's Pete Tong. Midweek the venue hosted live music and student nights.

A talent and promotions agency, representing artists and DJs, predominantly from the US, within the UK and European markets.My first role at Zoo, was based in Ibiza at the iconic Es Paradis nightclub, was as promotions manager. Promoting the clubs parties which were a mix of in-house promotions, collaborations with promoters and Zoo's own club night Garage City which was a co-hosted by Kiss FM. The club was busy 7 nights a week from the opening party in June to the closing party in September, welcoming up to 5,000 party goers. I managed a team of promotional staff, developed promotional campaigns, as well as booking and hosting the artists, entertainers and performers who brought the club to life. Promotions included ad hoc activations such as costumed parades through the town and liaising with the international press and media.Returning to the UK, I worked with the team on parties at well known London venues; Ministry of Sound, Camden Palace, The End and Bar Rumba. Whilst managing DJ bookings and tours for well known acts such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, Masters at Work and The Dreem Teem.

I joined Cafe Pasta in '93 as a trainee manager, leaving in '97 as General Manager of the group's flagship restaurant. Along the way, I oversaw new openings and refurbishments at the group's Wimbledon and Chiswick restaurants and led on the training of junior managers. At the flagship restaurant on High St Kensington regular diners included Dustin Hoffman, Matt Le Blanc, Mimi Driver, The Dart Family and musicians Tricky and Tim Simenon. During my time at Cafe Pasta the company became the first independent restaurant group to be recognised as 'Investors in People'.
