Creation of a new native Android app in Kotlin following the MVVM pattern and the latest market technologies such as Jetpack Compose, with the old app made in Java as the codebase:Refactor of the Java codebase to Kotlin;Refactor of the use of RxJava to Coroutines;Refactor of XML layouts to Jetpack Compose components;Creation of MVVM architecture to accommodate the new project;Use of Dagger Hilt to handle dependency injection;Creation of tests (Unit tests, integration tests, UI tests, end-to-end tests), using libs like Roboeletrick, Mockk, Cucumber, and Espresso.Documentation and creation of diagrams of all classes created in the project.

Maintenance of Android Applications:Optimization of applications focusing mainly on user experience - especially accessibility - thinking about elements that could be both interesting and accessible to all types of disabilities, minimizing both response time, working together with the backend team to reduce the size of requests being shared between applications and server, as well as the frequency of requests made to the server, using features such as the cache of the most frequent requests and the definition of dynamic caches for areas that need more recent data, and restructuring the project for clean architecture.Refactor of old layouts created in XML to Jetpack Compose using the latest technologies and libs available on the market to achieve the same or better results.Development of New Features:Creation of new interfaces for the Pingo Doce clubs, using technologies like Retrofit to make requests between the application and the server. Also using Moshi for data parsing.Creation of new user interfaces following the MVVM structural pattern established in the APP and using resources like Dagger Hilt to do dependency injection.Revamp of existing Views in the app like the Homepage to enable a better definition of components aiming at their reuse;Remake of the entire Onboarding of the app taking into account 5 possible scenarios where each client should be redirected to a different Onboarding.Training of new Android developers at Bliss Academy:Responsible for training new recently graduated Android developers, being one of the main responsibles for creating the content studied by the new developers over 2 months.Monitoring of personal development within the academy and the adaptation of new employees within the company after the end of the academy.
