I am an Onshore/Offshore Mechanical/Machining Technician with +24 years’ post trade experience on Greenfield and Brownfield construction, commissioning and maintenance projects across the offshore and onshore oil and gas, mining, refinery, tool and die making and general engineering sectors within Australia. I've specilised in mechanical fitting and precision machining on CNC Lathes, Mills and Wire EDM's to basic manual machines as well as in situ field machining on verious types of flanges, blinds, Spacers, pipe cutting using Marage, Hydratight, E.H Wachs machines and also flange management including joint integrity, inspection and measurement of pipeline flanges, torque/tensioning and the safe and efficient hands-on field maintenance and workshop machining of various componentry found in the medical, motor mining and LNG industry's.I combine well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with strong hands-on technical knowledge and a team-focused approach to develop positive working relationships with client interfaces, management, colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders. I am adept in the reading and interpretation of technical plant and equipment specifications, and am a highly conscientious worker, continuously seeking to identify and control workplace hazards to ensure the safety of myself, my colleagues and the valuable equipment we work with.
