I have been design authority on the LDAT component part of several commercial transport projects involving Network Rail and Transport for London.Most recently I have been design Authority for the LDAT component or the Fibre acoustic Monitoring Project which has successfully transitioned a research proof of concept via a trial into an industrialized pilot solution for Network Rail.I Have been spatial design consultant on several MOD projects.Initial architect on the Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) design for Ebbsfleet.Whilst being an experienced GIS designer I am also conversant with Java, JEE and service architectures from the design standpoint. As well as Oracle general database technologies.I have presented and co-presented with Oracle directors at GITA North America and have presented at Geodiffusion North America.I am a Chartered Geographer(GIS) accredited by the Royal Geographic Society and an assessor for the accreditation process. As a GIS professional with a good understanding of Oracle 11g spatial features, I am closely involved with the Oracle spatial development team.I have a close relationship with the Ordnance survey and have a good understanding of their product set. I have a good understanding of Web Mapping which includes Microsoft Live Mapping and Google Earth.Technologies involved: Java, Oracle Spatial, Mapinfo, ESRI, PL/SQL, FME, translation software, XML technologies, GML, JSP, JEE, servlet, Microsoft and Sun operating systems, Redwood IVR.
