Facilities Supervisor (Retired)
As a Facilities Supervisor I hire, train and supervise the Building Services Department including working with my team to maintain the interior of all buildings. In addition I hire, train and supervise Gatehouse Seasonal Security staff. Additional responsibilities included hiring and correctly training and ensuring the safety of the Traffic and Grounds Department who were responsible for traffic control on 12 kilometers of class A highway during the winter season leading to the Mount Seymour Ski Resort which includes high volume traffic control, winter tire checks, assisting and controlling accident scenes, directing clients on how and where to park in one-(1) of five-(5) parking lots and other traffic and snow related duties as required.Past duties include three-(3) summer seasons as Park Facility Operator at Mount Seymour.and two-(2) winter seasons in Traffic and Grounds as a regular team member.
