https://www.sentienrobotics.com/(contractor) Worked with a team of engineers to build a UAV Management Robot that could automatically deploy and manage large fleets of commercial drones. We built the robot from scratch, and I designed charging ports using CAD software and installed them on the drones. My major tasks on this project included: • Metal CNC of robot parts and assembly of the robots (assembling & installing wires, riveting and cutting sheet metal, sensors, etc.)• Reverse-engineering a drone management robot to build a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation for software testing; and • Using CAD design software to design the HIL, and diagram logical connections for all the key components of the robot (actuators, sensors, circuit boards, etc.)

Using computer aided design (CAD) software, I created a line of 3D printed metal rings with unique messages built into their design. Buyers can choose their own personalized message to put in the ring along with several other customization parameters that make this ring one of the most innovative and bespoke products on the market.I taught myself how to program in Python to write a script that automates each ring design’s development, which cuts down the average design time from 35 minutes to 30 seconds (~98% decrease in time spent designing each ring).I also effectively delegated tasks to a small team to successfully raise over $8,400 over 40 days of Kickstarter crowdfunding. I made over 100 rings for buyers, and had them in people's hands in a timely fashion.

(contractor) Built a retail display case for a string of programmable LEDs that teach people how to play the guitar. The case is being used in trade shows and investor meetings to explain how the product works in an interactive and intuitive way. My major tasks on this project included: ● Communicating the technical specification and management plan to the CEO and CTO, to ensure that the project was progressing as expected;● Designing the case, using CAD design software; and fabricated it, using machine tools (laser cutter, drill press machine, etc.); and● Compiling a Bill of Materials (BoM), mechanical drawings, and an assembly guide for mass production.

As a Customer Solutions Engineer, I recommended solutions to any and all problems that arose throughout the chain of implementation of a customer’s service. This role enabled me to utilize my creative and analytical skills to develop these solutions, and made me tenacious and persuasive in getting other others to implement them. Ultimately, my work contributed significantly in the generation of ~$20 million in company revenue by driving customer adoption of Intelsat’s new generation of High-Throughput Satellites (HTS). This work included:● Liaising between clients and Intelsat’s internal groups to implement satellite networks for clients’ data coverage needs, and ultimately drive company revenue, and● Working closely with asset management teams to assist with satellite loading, deployment, testing, and deorbiting.

While pursuing my Master’s Degree at the University of Notre Dame, and for a period subsequent to graduation, I served as a CAD Software Expert in the promotion of the adoption of Autodesk’s newest CAD platform called Fusion 360. At the end of the internship I presented my work to the CEO of the company, and was recognized as a Featured Contributor on the Autodesk Online Galleries. Some of my tasks and accomplishments included:● Demonstrating Fusion 360's usefulness in product design and manufacturing, through complex computer-aided design (CAD) modeling, YouTube tutorials, and in-person lectures● Brainstorming ideas for new product features based on customer use cases and trends, under the supervision of Autodesk's Sales and Marketing team.
