After graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications in 1996, Allan served as Manager of Creative Technology at advertising agency Grey Worldwide. Following the high-tech surge of the late 90's, Allan launched one of the first Latino social networking communities in 2001. Funded by SOFTBANK LATIN AMERICA VENTURES Allan evolved parent company, LatCom Communications into a leading 360 integrated service provider helping brands reach U.S.-born Latinos via custom events, a collegiate magazine, and college campus marketing. In 2006 LatCom was sold to digital media company Batanga Media (recently rebranded as Vix). Always having a love and charm for historical buildings Allan pivoted into construction and development when he became Principal and COO of AR Construction (All Renovation Construction LLC) in 2012.  He currently serves to initiate new business relationships with city economic developers, end users and financial institutions to collectively merge business interests into successful developments. A serial entrepreneur Allan founded Newark Foundry Workspaces in 2017, Allan’s vision was to revitalize a blighted property into a unique collaborative workspace for entrepreneurs and existing business owners in need of affordable office space. A blighted mansion was purchased with the goal to modify the building for new commercial uses while retaining its historic features. Its unique architectural details offers tenants more than just a typical office space but an opportunity to work inside a historic gilded age Newark mansion.In 2017 Allan successfully completed Project REAP - NYC (The Real Estate Associate Program). REAP is acknowledged to be the most successful diversity initiative in the commercial real estate industry. In 2020 Allan completed Columbia University's Community Business Program (CCBP). CCBP is a two year executive education program for small business owners aligned with the core curriculum of the MBA program at Columbia Business School.
