I am a retired Army veteran with 20 years of military service. While in the service I served as an artilleryman and an AFATDS Operator. After retirement I worked at CGI, Northrop Grumman, SAWTST and Halliburton. I left all of those jobs due to layoffs in the work force.Most notably, I’d like to point out my experience at Halliburton. I worked in the Cementing department as a plant operator. By the end of my career with Halliburton I was in charge of the maintenance program for the entire plant. I ordered and replaced tools and parts as necessary; I did all daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections. I monitored all equipment for proper operations, I was responsible for complying with all safety, EPA and OSHA standards and for the cleanliness of the plant. I maintained records of all parts replaced and stayed up to date on all policies, procedures and practices. I’ve been through extensive safety certifications and training, first aid training and am certified to operate a forklift . I have possessed a secret security clearance for 20 years. I currently have 75 hrs of college credits from the University of Cameron. I am proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word. I have a really good work ethic and strong character. I work well with groups of people and am very outgoing.
