I am an experienced project manager and engineer, most recently leading a team of software engineers developing computer software and web collaboration products for clients. I was also involved in designing and testing sensor fusion technology. As the Project Manager of a software engineering team I applied Agile methodology to ensure efficient delivery of products, as well as being a liaison between stakeholders. Before my time in Huntsville, Alabama, I worked in the subsea oil and gas industry for 6 years as a Structural Engineer specializing in risers based in Houston. There I served as a project engineer designing ROVs and ROV tooling, managing a team of design engineers and draftsman while maintaining budget and schedules for the company and client. I also have experience using inspection results and Key Performance Indicator data monitoring to develop risk-based integrity management plans for each riser system. I completed my education at Texas A&M University with a degree in Ocean Engineering, emphasis on Coastal Engineering. I also was an undergraduate researcher at Oregon State University where I developed a toolbox which applied numerical wave models to wave tank configurations for tsunami research. Skilled in team management, project scheduling, application of Agile principles, spatial, geometric, and computer algorithms, team building, and creating and maintaining positive, professional relationships.
