Implemented Python TensorFlow/Keras machine learning model to detect security compromises for medical IoT devices. Presented demos of project progress and use case analyses, from local teams to C-level executive (CTO) meetings.

Working in the lab of Dr. Charles McKenzie. Installed and configured research software packages, using imaging tools such as 3D Slicer to optimize MRI fetal image quality and correct for motion. Currently working on developing a machine learning algorithm for fetal MRI image segmentation.

Conducting research on fruit flies in the behavioral genetics lab of Dr. Anne Simon. Conducted experiments on fly behaviour following isolation and mutations on an autism related gene.

Worked in the Genetics & Genome Biology and the Centre for Applied Genomics teams to develop a novel pipeline to merge two DNA sequences from cystic fibrosis patients into a hybrid assembly. Work presented at SickKids in a poster and oral presentation (first place winner). Recipient of Lunenfeld Summer Studentship ($2000) in 2019.
