Currently I have two very different careers, both I love doing, I couldn't choose so I decided not to and have enjoyed being able to do both. At this time I am Assistant Director of Nursing of the skilled nursing unit as well as the Director of Health Services at The Landing at Watermere in Southlake. I adore my residents and am so grateful for the opportunity to make a difference during this time of their lives. In addition to that I also work PRN for Texas Rehab in Fort Worth Texas. Both nursing positions are different but they enable me to do my favorite part of nursing, educate and develop relationships with families and patients. My second career is as a Hair and Makeup artist. I am able to help my clients look and feel their best for special events, weddings, and photo shoots. I also am incredibly lucky to be able to volunteer with the DFW USO. It is truly and honor to have the chance to support the brave men and women in our military who sacrifice so much, as well as their families.
