Shiftgig is the online community for the service and hospitality industries providing connections for employment. Shiftgig helps job candidates and hiring managers connect with each other to get positions filled. They save employers time and money by streamlining the hiring process and delivering high-quality candidates. Shiftgig also encourages people to connect with other people in the community to get references, referrals, and show off social influence. As an intern for the Marketing Solutions Group, I support the team that markets to and communicates with the Shiftgig community. Current tasks include coordinating social media and email marketing posts and campaigns as well as assisting the team with event planning. Other learning experiences include DFP training, research and analyst work.
