During the six week study abroad, this program covered design principles, architectural history, incorporation of outside elements into design, an introduction to drafting, etc.

During my internship, I worked on 2 separate jobs off of Broadway. The first project was a multi-level parking garage for 2 high rise apartment buildings. I worked as layout intern utilizing an optical level, a GPS, and a Total Station. I assisted in completing safety audits and QC inspections. The second project was a 3-week rework job in which I took on management responsibilities. I managed about a 10 person crew in which we completed concrete demolition, removal, pouring, and finishing work.
