In this position, I plan and direct practices to strategically increase and support my students’ playing levels as well as communicate any schedule changes with parents and players. Organized team bonding events outside of normal practice times and ensured all parties were in the loop.

Through my experience with KLS, I had the opportunity to engage with individuals from around the globe and gain valuable insights from their diverse experiences. Aside from the personal growth opportunities I had during my time in London, my main responsibilities as an intern included: - Developing and implementing background procedures to ensure the efficient operation of daily activities.- Providing individualized assistance to KLS members with insurance, healthcare, and housing issues in the Wandsworth area.- Collaborating with colleagues to plan, execute, and support community events.- Emphasizing educational, creative, and overall well-being for KLS's children and young adult members through weekly tutoring and exercise.

In this role, I managed 5-8 individuals per shift, smoothed over customer complaints, and ensured effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house employees. I was promoted within five months of working at Parlour, and have gained valuable experience in interpersonal communication, customer service, and problem-solving quickly and efficiently.

This summer internship was filled with research methodology, problem solving, and innovation as my team and I organized a research project on the movement and concentration of debris within Beargrass Creek. We designed our experiment, created hypotheses, and worked in the field to collect data, all to create a research paper that (hopefully) is soon to be published in an academic journal.

Managed 5-10 employees per shift, as well as supervised schedules for all 38 employees. Took inventory, ordered necessary items, and ensured safe storage of food and ingredients. Smoothed customer complaints, ensured team members felt supported by me and the company owners, and overall established a safe, fun, and productive work environment.
