Allison Baker, LPC-S, CATP (she, her) has worked in the field of child and adolescent trauma and counseling since 2005. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor and a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional. She has provided acute clinical treatment services to children and adolescents in a psychiatric hospital setting, provided clinical therapy and crisis intervention services to children, adolescents and young adults in a shelter setting, including in emergency care, transitional living, teen parent and early childhood and supervised independent living residential programs, as well as provided clinical supervision since 2013 to graduate interns and professionals working with children to adults who have experienced child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation. Allison began managing a Therapeutic Services team in 2017 at a non-profit agency which serves survivors of DV, SA, Child abuse and neglect and sexual exploitation and trafficking. Beginning in January 2022, she is the Director of Therapeutic and Youth Services at the SAFE Alliance where she leads a team of therapists and professionals who provide therapy, care and support to children and young adults in a residential or foster home setting who have experienced child abuse and neglect and provide therapy services and support to adults, children and families in the community who have been impacted by violence.
