I am currently working as a paraoptometric for Williamsburg Eye Care. As I do enjoy what I am currently doing, I’m looking for a career shift into the education field. I would love to be a teacher again ideally in an elementary school setting. I achieved my BS in Art at Radford University, and am currently working towards my Masters in Education from Liberty University. I have previously worked for a daycare where I held a lead teacher position for almost 3 years and then for the last few months while I was there I was promoted to Assistant Director.My absolute favorite experience from that was being a Pre-K teacher. Since leaving that position I’ve truly missed seeing children succeed and getting excited when they have learned a new skill. My current goal is to hopefully step into the public school system while obtaining my teaching degree under a provisional license.
