SOC 152C (SexInfo Collective) is a group of top sociology students at UC Santa Barbara who manage the SexInfo website, an educational resource where visitors can find information on any and all topics related to human sexuality. All members of the SexInfo Collective were specially selected as the top-scoring students in SOC 152A, the pre-requisite course for SOC 152B and 152C. Responsibilities of the collective include: - Writing, updating, and publishing educational articles on the SexInfo website- Answering inquiries submitted through the "Ask the Sexperts" function - Participating in weekly discussions of ongoing issues with sex education, LGBTQ+ rights, sexual health, etc.- Hosting campus-wide events to promote healthier sexual practices at UCSB- Acting as Teaching Assistants to SOC 152A professors

UC Santa Barbara's collegiate Mock Trial team is a completely student-run, competition-based organization. The organization's leadership consists of four executive board members, with the secretary position dedicated to logistics, communication, and organization. Specific duties of the secretary include: - Email, text, and other communication with prospective members and current teammates - Meeting minutes for all Executive Board meetings and content-heavy general meetings- Ordering, organizing, and maintaining document file boxes with exhibits, affidavits, and pre-trial binder materials - Taking attendence and tracking team members' progress throughout the season - Planning the logistics of out-of-town tournaments- Working with other members of the Executive Board on general team matters

Lead classes of ~8 students ages 5-18 years-old. Create and follow weekly lesson plans according to each class's skill level. Track student progress using "skill sheets" and conduct monthly progress checks to assess levels of improvement. Make decisions regarding when each particular student has progressed enough to move onto a higher level class.
