Career SummaryI’ve spent my career as a story-teller & creator. I began as a reporter out of college and worked for two newspapers as a writer, reporter & photographer. Upon the downsizing of newspapers, I transitioned into a media team at a large church as a project manager, graphic designer & photographer. Upon finding success with a side hustle as a wedding & portrait photographer, I launched into full-time entrepreneurship with photography & successfully photographed more than 450 weddings & thousands of portrait sessions over 13 years. Upon moving to San Diego the summer before the pandemic shutdowns, my newly replanted photography business wasn’t able to survive the closures & impact to the California wedding industry. In the unknown time period of the pandemic, I set out to photograph the entire West Coast in 30 days and successfully wrote, designed & curated my first fine art coastal photography book, which I funded through pre-sales in a successfully executed Kickstarter campaign.
