Hi, my name is Alli Gamble from Quinnipiac University, and I am majoring in film and public relations. From my film classes in high school, I learned how to write scripts, editing and then producing them. I have created many different types of projects including PSAs, music videos, documentaries, commercials and sports highlights. I was elected to make a promotional video that highlighted what Home Depot does for its surrounding communities. for some of these projects I worked in teams and that helped me develop valuable skills like being a good communicator and working well with others. Through all that I have learned how to use professional editing software and I am always discovering and learning new techniques. My goal is to make videos that help and inspire others. I have also worked at my high schools TV station and helped direct and produce. We tried to put out a show once a week, so everything was moving fast but also had to maintain the same good quality as if we had two to three weeks to work on it. Taking these classes has helped me be more comfortable with the equipment and software and be more efficient and faster pace. I have gained new insight on the production side, and I am ready for the next chapter in my journey.
