Worked part time as a long-term substitute paraprofessional aide and/or teacher at a non-public school for ED boys in a residential treatment program.

Part-time sales associate at Anthropologie. Assisted patrons in the fitting room, acted as a "runner", closed all sections of the store, and checked patrons out at the "cash wrap".

Seasonal Naturalist leading elementary school students on guided hikes around the Marin Headlands in the SF Bay Area. Participated and facilitated in team building, environmental education, and evening activities focused on marine mammal adaptations.

AmeriCorps year as a marine science educator specializing in the North West Killer Whale populations, focusing specifically on family structure and underwater communication. Experience with cold-water animal husbandry, teaching elementary school students, open sea plumbing systems, growing brine shrimp, removing scratches in tanks and cleaning touch tanks.

Acted as a Corps Member on an AmeriCorps NCCC team within the Western Region Campus. I served on a team of 13 people. We carried out environmental and house building projects in four different cities across the United States. In Stelzer County Park in San Diego, my team built trails, designed curriculum for elementary students, and help restore a regional park. In New Orleans, LA my team assisted Habitat for Humanity with house building projects for alternative Spring Break students. I specialized in interior trim carpentry and painting. We also worked with the Louisiana Audubon Nature Institute to restore the Louisiana Nature Center ruined by storm serge waters, wrote curriculum for an upcoming non-profit called Bayou Rebirth, and helped to work with students from charter schools to plant native plants in the wetlands after removing invasive Chinese Tallow. In Portland, Oregon we worked with Habitat for Humanity to build low-income housing for families being pushed out by gentrification.
