I have had the privilege to pursue many passions in my career. In the fall of 2022, I decided to do something that had always intrigued but frightened me - learn to fly an airplane. Hooked from day one, I spend as much time in the air as I can. I recently completed my CFI rating and I am looking forward to building a career as a flight instructor. My first love, though, is the built environment and how we as a society create, interact with, and are affected by our physical surroundings. I am a 2019 Graduate of the Georgia State University Masters in Urban Studies program with a primary interest in transportation equity and policies and practices that contribute to reduced automobile dependence and traffic reduction. I am also a licensed Civil Engineer with experience in public works and construction management. In the meantime, I have also spent many years helping independent European auto repair shops grow and attract customers through the BimmerShops directories. I fell into this niche work helping my husband find a qualified mechanic for his 1988 BMW M5, an ultimate driving machine with an abundance of electrical issues. Together we built the directory network and I have operated it since 2012.Finally, I am also a committed volunteer and advocate for healthcare and higher education access in Atlanta.
