I believe that connection is the most important thing we can foster in our communities. Witnessing intercultural students connecting to a new place and with new people lights my fire. I find the greatest joy watching my students become better versions of themselves by building confidence in their language skills. Through my experience of living overseas, serving in the Peace Corps, and learning how to assimilate in a new culture, I gained a strong appreciation for what it is like to move to this country and find your way. I strive to help my students pave their own paths in a new culture and country. I'm passionate about living my best life, traveling as much as I can, practicing yoga and mindfulness, playing tennis, reading good stuff, loving my family and friends well, and being a light to others along the way.
