I am a second-year student studying a Bachelor of Dental Health Science/Master of Dentistry at the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University. My passion for helping others and interest in detailed, hands-on activities have driven me to become an aspiring dental practitioner. Though a long and difficult road, I aim to provide high-quality oral healthcare in the future, utlising the skills I have learnt at Griffith University. My experience as a medical receptionist has helped me develop my communication skills through both physical interaction and phone calls with patients. I am confident in my ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients in a timely but effective manner. I possess skilled manual dexterity and fine motor movements, both of which I have developed over the years through my hobbies of painting, drawing, piano, and violin. I believe that these skills will help me provide excellent oral care in which patients feel satisfied with the quality of my service. I also work well in a team and in collaborative environments - a skill which I have learnt during my participation in multiple service groups during high school.
