Set up systems, upgraded the software systems, wrote grants for over $20,000 in funding, managed public relations, oversight of social media, oversight of a one year strategic planning process for space expansion, assisted in the development of donor funding, wrote the first food policy for the food shelf.

Responsible for membership recruitment and retention as well as maintainence of member records and planning member events.

My duties as the staff executive were to assist with the start up and marketing of the Association, plan and execute the annual meeting, publish a quarterly newsletter and annual membership directory, as well as keep organization records and manage finances.

Organize, advise and oversee a 5 member staff, 20 member board and 21 area directors and the programs and activities of the society to achieve the mission and objective of the organization.

As the Association's chief staff executive, my responsibility was to participate in board formulation of the Association's mission, goals, objectives and related policies. I had staff oversight, including hiring, training, and performance review. I organized, coordinated, and directed the various programs and activities of the Association, and monitored and assisted the Association's standing committees. Other duties included coordinating and promoting educational programs and the annual meeting; editing and producing all publications, including a quarterly magazine; and managing the Association's finances. I was also required to maintain effective internal and external public relations, particularly with the state legislature and related government agencies
