I have been working in the plant sciences for over 10 years, and am a graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, Main Campus. I am trained in ornamental horticulture but have extensive experience in vegetable production, landscaping, and greenhouse production both formally and informally. In total, I have seven years of formal (industry) experience with working for companies like Green Circle Growers and Shaffer Landscapes. I am FFA Alumni and in the past have won state competitions and am an awarded public speaker. Along with the plant sciences, I am the author of four novels and have studied Spanish for seven years.
